The nationwide Yuksalish movement was established in 2019. The organization is led by Bobur Bekmurodov, a member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The movement is actively involved in public monitoring of government reforms, community improvement and greening projects, efforts to provide drinking water to underserved communities, and other important social initiatives. Today, the organization brings together more than 110,000 members.
A separate topic of discussion was the planned visit of a Yuksalish delegation to the United States in March 2027. The visit is expected to include the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Vatan Global Alliance, meetings with representatives of the Uzbek diaspora in the United States, and discussions on promising areas for future joint projects.
Ahead of the visit, the two sides plan to develop a dedicated framework covering organizational matters and key areas of future cooperation. Yuksalish representatives also expressed their readiness to help raise awareness of Vatan Global Alliance and its activities among the public in Uzbekistan.
The dialogue marked an important step in expanding Vatan Global Alliance’s engagement with leading civil society organizations in Uzbekistan. This cooperation creates new opportunities to advance people-to-people diplomacy between the United States and Uzbekistan, strengthen connections with Uzbek communities abroad, and implement practical initiatives that benefit the broader Uzbek community.
Vatan Global Alliance continues to build a global platform that brings together Uzbeks and fellow citizens abroad, promotes international dialogue, and strengthens connections with Uzbekistan.
