Samarkand Region and uPay.net strengthen cooperation

uPay.net has officially become a strategic partner of the Samarkand Regional Government. A memorandum of cooperation was signed as part of the launch of the Samarkand Philadelphia Digital Hub, a new international platform aimed at developing digital cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.

The new initiative is designed to strengthen international ties in digital technology, attract investment, support business development, and facilitate joint projects. The Samarkand Philadelphia Digital Hub is expected to serve as a platform for collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors, technology companies, and government institutions from both countries.

Khusrav Makhmudov, CEO of uPay.net, has been appointed Head of the Samarkand Philadelphia Digital Hub. Under his leadership, the hub will focus on developing international partnerships, supporting digital initiatives, and creating new opportunities for innovative projects.

As part of the partnership, uPay.net also developed the official investment portal for the Samarkand Region — InvestInSamarkand.com. The platform is designed to promote the region’s investment potential, attract foreign investors, and provide up-to-date information on promising projects and business opportunities.

The official memorandum signing ceremony and launch of the digital hub were attended by:

Adiz Boboev — Governor of the Samarkand Region;
Furkat Sidikov — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United States.

Special thanks were expressed to Adiz Boboev, Furkat Sidikov, and Jamil Sharapov for their support of the initiative.

The launch of the Samarkand Philadelphia Digital Hub marks another step toward expanding international digital cooperation, increasing investment opportunities, and strengthening business ties between Uzbekistan and the United States.
