During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to expand the presence of Uzbek national audiovisual content in the United States. Particular attention was given to organizing screenings of Uzbek feature and animated films, as well as implementing cultural and educational projects aimed at Uzbek children and families living outside Uzbekistan.

One of the key topics of discussion was a new film project, “The Girl Who Raised the Flag.” The film will become the first feature film dedicated to the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The participants discussed the possibility of carrying out the main part of the filming in the United States. In addition, members of the Uzbek diaspora living in the U.S. are expected to take part in the production process. This form of cooperation will not only broaden the geographic reach of Uzbekistan’s national film production but also encourage greater involvement of Uzbeks living abroad in the country’s cultural projects.

Special attention was also given to developing content for younger generations. The parties emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for Uzbek children living abroad to maintain a connection with their native language, culture, traditions, and national values through modern films, animated content, and educational projects.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to implement joint initiatives aimed at promoting Uzbek national content internationally, strengthening cultural ties with Uzbeks living abroad, and further developing cooperation between representatives of the film industry and the Uzbek diaspora in the United States.

Such projects are expected to help expand the international presence of Uzbek cinema and create new opportunities for audiences abroad to discover Uzbekistan’s culture, history, and contemporary creative work.
