New money transfer service for Uzbek residents in the U.S.

The project is primarily designed for Uzbek compatriots who live and work in the United States while maintaining regular connections with family and loved ones in Uzbekistan. With the new service, users can send money from abroad directly to their family members and loved ones through national payment system cards.

Previously, uPay.net users could remotely pay for mobile services, internet, utilities, and other expenses in Uzbekistan. The platform’s functionality has now been expanded to include direct money transfers from the United States to HUMO and UZCARD cards.

All transactions through the service are carried out digitally. During the platform’s launch, particular attention was paid to complying with financial regulations in both the United States and Uzbekistan, ensuring transaction security, and creating the most convenient experience possible for users.

The project has been supported by the necessary banking, technological, and compliance infrastructure. The project’s initiators continue to work with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York and Uzbek community organizations. As part of this cooperation, they are studying the needs of the Uzbek diaspora in the United States and discussing opportunities to develop new digital services.

The launch of money transfers from the United States to Uzbekistan is considered the first stage of the project’s development. Future plans include expanding the geographic reach of money transfer services, introducing additional financial tools, and developing new digital services for users across Central Asian countries.
